El Hamaquero supports the community mangrove restoration program at La Penda. Together with native eco-guides, guests help open the channels that connect the mangrove to the sea and prepare planting areas where they are invited to plant new mangrove seedlings.
This night experience begins with a canoe tour through the inner mangrove lagoons leading to the Enchanted Lagoon, where after dark it is possible to witness the natural wonder of bioluminescence.

Daily departures from Cartagena between 8:30 and 9:00 am by direct boat across the open sea. Return from Isla Grande is between 1:00 pm and 2:30 pm, with arrival at La Bodeguita Pier between 3:00 pm and 4:00 pm.
Ideal for guests who wish to avoid the open sea or prefer greater schedule flexibility, combining private car transfer to Baru with a private boat through protected inland waters.
